Three years ago I first published a calendar featuring the
The shooting plants available in each month of the year.
Along with the great interest in the board came a request for a course that would allow learning from home.
I was debating whether to respond to a request that also has challenges and I decided to say - yes!
Here it is - the invitation to turn straw into gold!
And this time in a digital course!
In the meantime, about 200 participants participated in the course. It's exciting to meet people of any gender/age/religion/place in Israel, when everyone collects the plants in their area of residence. We discovered that it is possible and exciting to learn archery from home. Although there is no substitute for a live meeting in nature, there is something comfortable and enabling about watching videos and being able to go deeper at ease, in the small details, at your own pace and in silence, from home.
The course makes it accessible and enables a soft entry into the worlds of collecting and shooting.

We will get to know a variety of plants according to the seasons:
in spring grains and flowers like wheat,
Barley and lavender
At the beginning of summer, long leaves of crocosmia and lilies, at the height of summer
Stumbled upon corn and olive
In the fall we will get to know palm species and aquatic plants
In the winter he got caught in climbing plants and pine needles
And many more happy plants
What will we learn in the meetings?
The course includes 12 subjects, according to the months of the year. Every month we will learn together to collect and weave what grows near the house.
The course will focus on soft and pleasant shooting plants, each plant in its season.
We will learn how to collect gently, in a way that does not harm the plant.
Together we will understand how to weave different baskets and braids that are suitable for beginners and those who are focused
Who is the course for?
The course is intended for those who want to get to know an ancient and wonderful craft. For those who want to enrich their everyday life with beauty, connection and peace.
Together we will get to know the threads of the craft in a pleasant and easy way. In the course, special emphasis is placed on the accessibility of shooting. So that you can easily teach yourself and others how to knit. The course will be especially suitable for parents, educators, therapists and those who love creativity, nature and fun.

No previous experience is necessary - step by step you enter together into the ancient world of basket weaving. The accompaniment in the WhatsApp group allows a space for consultation and relaxed learning and a feeling of a tribe.
Collecting and making baskets are one of life's pleasures.
Be warned, this is an addictive craft (!!) :)
